Salary Range: Assistant Professor: $75,000-$120,000 (based on discipline); Associate Professor: $80,000-$150,000 (based on discipline); Professor: $95,000-$170,000 (based on discipline)

Job Summary
Faculty position with responsibility for research in the National Center for the Elimination of Educational Disparities (NCEED).

Job Duties

• Develop research agenda
• Implement and publish school-based research
• Submit proposals for external funding
• Teach courses in the BS and MA in Teaching and/or MS in Education Administration and Supervision programs
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics

• Research and data analysis skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with a research team
• Ability to synthesize local, state and federal education policy and related implementation plans (e.g., The Blueprint for Maryland’s Future)
• Research state and local systems policies and regulations
• Ability to travel and work in an office and classroom environment

Required Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D or Ed.D in a related discipline from an accredited college or university. At least three years of experience in Higher Education and K-12 teaching and supervision are required.
