The Politics and International Relations Program seeks to recruit a full-time faculty member specializing in International Relations, in line with the mission of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, which is committed to academic excellence, knowledge production, and the integration of scholarly research with public policy issues in regional and international contexts.
The appointment is expected to commence in August/September 2027.
The successful candidate should be a specialist in the field of International Relations. S/he will be expected to teach advanced graduate-level courses in the field, supervise master's and doctoral theses, and contribute to the development of the program's research environment. The candidate will also be expected to participate actively in academic and administrative committees, particularly those related to admissions and program development. They should maintain a strong research agenda and publish in internationally peer-reviewed journals, thereby enhancing the standing of the program while advancing DI's commitment to critical, interdisciplinary research and service to the pressing issues of the region.
