JOB TITLE:
Open Rank Professor
JOB PURPOSE:
The College of Law invites applications for a open-rank, tenure
track or tenured position to teach Constitution Law starting Fall
semester, 2027.
The successful candidate will be hired into an
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank depending on their
qualifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Constitutional Law and/or related law courses
- Maintain active scholarly research and professional
development
- Advise and mentor students
- Provide service to the college and university
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
As directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Candidates must have outstanding academic
credentials, including a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law
school.
Experience:
- Entry-level candidates should demonstrate potential for strong
teaching and scholarship.
- Experienced candidates should demonstrate excellence in
teaching and scholarship.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrate deep commitment to outstanding teaching,
scholarship, and service.
- Previous college-level teaching experience with expertise in
Constitution Law and an active research agenda.
