Job Description:

Department Overview:

The Department of Social Work is entering an exciting period of growth and innovation. In addition to expanding its Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs, the Department is actively developing a PhD program in Social Work, creating new opportunities for faculty leadership in doctoral education, research mentorship, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of the social work profession. The development of the PhD program reflects both the Department's growth and Binghamton University's broader commitment to expanding high-impact graduate and doctoral education within its R1 research environment.

The Department is part of College of Community and Public Affairs (CCPA), an interdisciplinary college focused on preparing students for careers and leadership in public and community service. Located in downtown Binghamton, CCPA is closely connected to a broad network of community agencies, schools, health and human service organizations, government entities, and nonprofit partners.
