Position Summary:
The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Immunology at the UNC School of Medicine is seeking a physician for a faculty position in Allergy and Immunology. This position is being recruited as open rank with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
This position is clinically intensive and requires a strong commitment to patient care. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical services, including ambulatory patient care and inpatient consultations, while actively participating in the education and mentoring of fellows, residents, and medical students. In addition to clinical duties, the faculty member will contribute to teaching within the Department of Medicine and collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment that supports research, education, and clinical excellence.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
MD or MD/PhD, Board certified / eligible in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
Emphasis is placed on exemplary clinical skills. Interest in clinical education and/or research.
