Opera Technical Director - College of Fine Arts

Carnegie Mellon School of Music seeks individuals with Technical Direction experience and scenic fabrication skills to work with student designers in the creation and installation of scenery for the School of Music's fall and winter opera productions. in our theater space, supervising technical rehearsals and being on call during the 4 performances. Requires applied knowledge of materials handling, installation, assembly and safe rigging practices. Daytime and evening hours vary per the schedule.

Qualifications:

High School or GED
1-3 years of relevant work experience
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
