The Operations Assistant / TFCC (Track & Field and Cross Country) will assist in managing the budget and daily operations of the Track & Field and Cross Country programs. This person will help coordinate individual and team travel arrangements, student athlete admissions, communication with Athletics Compliance and Student Athlete Academic Support Services. Responsibilities include and not limited to managing travel (for both the team and staff); assist with the daily schedule of coaches and team; coordinate recruiting visits; plan special events; serve as game day operations liaison; handle numerous administrative responsibilities for the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field. This position reports directly to the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience working in a Division I "Power 4" athletic department.
• Experience coordinating team and recruiting travel for a Division I athletic program.
• Experience working with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and/or student athletes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or similar field, or relevant experience.
• Experience as a collegiate coach and/or student athlete.
• Working knowledge of recruiting software (Teamworks).
