This role will oversee three different facilities in West San Marcos. Specialties will include: QuickCare (Urgent Care), Podiatry, Older Adults (Internal Medicine), Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Chiropractic Medicine. Candidates with a strong background in health center and clinic management will be considered.
Your Role & Impact
The Operations Manager II is responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned TrueCare Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) site or department including direct and indirect supervision of 35 or more employees. This role focuses on tactical execution and frontline management, including staff supervision, clinical flow, and operational compliance. The Operations Manager II ensures health center policies and procedures are followed consistently, patient access and flow are optimized, and a high standard of patient-centered customer service is delivered. This position partners closely with site clinical leadership to support operational performance, program requirements, and quality improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, business administration, public administration, public health, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience relevant to the position.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a medical, health, or social services setting.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ management or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, legal and technical aspects of a medical records system, and ICD-10 and CPT codes.
- Bonus points if you’re bilingual (English/Spanish) or have community clinic experience!

The pay range for this role is $104,827 to $162,482 per year.
