High School Diploma or equivalent.
Job Description:
- Assist with coordination and implementation of clinical research studies within Dr. Ronald Staud's laboratory.
- Assist with participant screening, recruitment, enrollment, scheduling, and follow up activities.
- Support informed consent activities in accordance with approved study protocols and institutional requirements.
- Coordinate and support research visits, study procedures, and collection of research data and specimens.
- Maintain accurate and complete study documentation, source records, case report forms, and electronic databases.
- Enter research data and assist with responding to data queries and maintaining data quality.
- Assist with IRB submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, regulatory documentation, and maintenance of essential study files.
- Follow approved research protocols, institutional policies, Good Clinical Practice requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the current Clinical Research Coordinator to learn established study workflows, protocols, systems, and laboratory procedures.
- Participate in structured cross training and knowledge transfer to develop competency in critical research responsibilities and ensure continuity of study operations.
- Provide research coordination coverage and operational support as competency is established.
- Assist with study monitoring, audits, study initiation, closeout, and other research activities as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with the Principal Investigator, research staff, clinical personnel, study participants, and other research partners.
- Perform other duties related to clinical research activities as assigned.
Expected Salary:
$15.00 to $20.00 Hourly
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Experience and/or certification in phlebotomy.
