Oral English Teacher Vacancies

We are seeking 2-3 oral English instructors each term to teach courses in English Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Intercultural Communication.

Recruitment Status

Hiring for the upcoming term. (The Spring term typically starts in February, and the Autumn term in September, every year.)
Please note that we conduct ongoing recruitment throughout the year.

Candidate Qualifications

We require applicants to meet the following criteria:

1. Native English speakers or non-native English speakers with a TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification.
2. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
3. Two years of English teaching experience

Work Schedule

The contract spans one full academic school year and requires 16-20 hours of teaching per week, with each class lasting 50 minutes. Additionally, teachers are expected to participate in three academic activities per semester, such as giving lectures or other related events.

Compensation

1. The pre-tax monthly salary falls within the range of 9,000 to 12,000 RMB, determined by your educational background, relevant qualifications, and teaching experience.
2. Performance-based bonuses may be awarded based on your teaching effectiveness.
3. Teachers are entitled to paid summer and winter holidays.
4. Comprehensive medical and accident insurance is provided.
5. One international round-trip airfare (economy class) between the applicant’s passport country’s nearest international airport and the international airport in China will be reimbursed. This reimbursement, based on the applicant’s receipts, will be paid one month before the contract is fulfilled.
6. A free, well-furnished apartment is available. It includes a sitting room with a sofa, chair, and dining table, among other items; a kitchen equipped with a cupboard, refrigerator, oven, and induction cooker, etc.; a bedroom containing a bed, wardrobe, and desk; and a bathroom with an automatic washing machine, shower, and lavatory.
7. Foreign teachers receive Christmas Day as a paid holiday, in addition to all official Chinese public holidays.

Role Responsibilities

You will be instructing students whose ages range from 16 to 22 years old. No office hours are required for this position.
