Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Sep 22, 2026 Deadline: Sep 22, 2028 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Adult Reconstruction. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. They must also be
certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or eligible for such certification. Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction of medical students, fellows, and orthopedic surgery residents. Clinical responsibilities may include building a practice in adult reconstruction at Pennsylvania hospital, with additional duties in orthopedic surgery depending on candidate training and may include on call responsibilities. Applicants who have completed an accredited adult reconstruction fellowship are preferred. The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
