In this role, you will provide quality tire service and repairs for our customers, working in the shop and through mobile service calls. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values customer satisfaction, and understands the importance of working safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger vehicles and commercial trucks. Large truck tire service requires completion of TIA Commercial Tire Service (CTS) certification.
- Perform tire repairs and other assigned services in the shop and through mobile service calls.
- Inspect vehicles, complete written tire inspections, and recommend additional services when needed.
- Perform fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis, and dispatch-related duties as applicable.
- Communicate potential vehicle or service issues to management and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain adequate inventory of tires, repair supplies, and customer-specific parts.
- Keep service trucks, tools, and equipment clean, organized, properly stocked, and in good working condition.
- Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and check fluid levels in service vehicles and air compressors.
- Report mechanical issues, defects, or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws and company policies.
- Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in required training and maintain current TIA certifications and any other certifications needed for assigned work.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with tire mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial tire service and mobile tire repair is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper equipment use.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify tire and vehicle service needs.
- Ability to maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and service vehicles.
- Willingness to complete required training and obtain or maintain applicable TIA certifications.
- Dependability, a positive attitude, and a commitment to quality customer service.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and comply with applicable driving requirements.

Requirements:- 1-2 years of industrial pressing experience (preferred, but will train)
- 1 - 2 years of experience in heavy-duty and commercial tires
- 1-2 years of experience with passenger, light truck, agriculture, or industrial tires.
- ASE/TIA certification and/or willingness to participate in training
- Maintain high motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30 and 250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must have an upbeat and positive outlook and excel in a team environment.
- Enjoy a physically demanding work environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass a background check.
