Manages all aspects of HTC Climbing Wall program.

Manages Coastal Cycles bike program.

Coordinates, implements & evaluates outdoor trip & programs.

Hires, trains, supervises outdoor recreation staff.

Program Assistant (AH30/61122538/ FTE -S01202P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN06 . Salary range: $37,944.00 (minimum) – $49,266.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Related experience in a collegiate recreation setting or equivalent education, training or experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree. One (1) year experience in collegiate setting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must be able to develop and implement department policies & procedures. Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and leadership/management skills. Able to prioritize and respond appropriately in emergencies.
