OverviewThe
Harrison College of Pharmacy at Auburn University is seeking an
Outreach Programs Coordinator for our Center for Opioid Research Education and Outreach (COACH). This innovative program brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts to lead a unified, collaborative response to substance use and substance use disorders across Alabama. The Outreach Programs Coordinator will coordinate and identify opportunities for outreach educational programs and is responsible for the training of personnel on facility and program operations.
Responsibilities- Coordinate COACH educational, outreach, and service programs, including community initiatives, K-12 education, professional training, and engagement events.
Assist with operational and financial management by coordinating contracts, vendors, speakers, travel, registration, and program logistics.Develop, measure, and evaluate performance metrics to measure program impact and guide continuous improvement, growth, and sustainability.Coordinate training, mentorship, and technical support for staff, students, and volunteers to ensure program quality and consistencyCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen programs, identify needs, develop initiatives, and advance COACH goals.Support marketing, outreach, and communications to promote programs, engage stakeholders, and enhance COACH visibility and impact.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in discipline related to program, education, or related field.
- 2 years of experience administering educational/outreach programs or coordinating events, programs, or projects.
Substitution allowed for Education:- When a candidate has the required experience, but lacks the required education, they may normally apply additional relevant experience toward the education requirement, at a rate of two (2) years relevant experience per year of required education.
