Founded in 2006, the School of International Education (SIE) at Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) is responsible for managing administrative affairs related to international students. This includes formulating and supervising policies for international students, as well as handling their admission, accommodation, and academic coordination. To support the expanding operations, SIE is inviting applications from qualified individuals worldwide for the position of Overseas Admissions Specialist. I. Basic Information

• Job Type: Full-time
• Employer: School of International Education, Xi’an Jiaotong University
• Location: Assigned regions (North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, East Asia, etc.)

II. Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement admissions strategies for assigned countries/regions.
2. Establish and maintain partnerships with international schools, language training institutions, and other stakeholders to expand recruitment channels.
3. Organize and execute international cooperation programs, admissions events, and promotional seminars in assigned countries/regions.
4. Respond to prospective student inquiries, assist applicants with document preparation, conduct preliminary application reviews, and manage post-admission procedures.
5. Provide pre-departure guidance and orientation for admitted students.
6. Monitor recruitment data in assigned countries/regions, prepare annual admission reports, and refine recruitment strategies accordingly.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

III. Qualifications

1. Comply with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China and have a strong passion for admission-related work.
2. Demonstrate strong professional ethics, integrity, discipline, dedication, teamwork spirit, and excellent communication and coordination skills.
3. Native English speaker with a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Priority will be given to candidates with native proficiency in both Chinese and English.
4. Familiarity with the global higher education sector, with prior experience in university settings or international student admissions being preferred.
5. Candidates should be no older than 55 years of age (born after January 1, 1970). Exceptionally qualified candidates may have the age requirement relaxed appropriately.
