Responsibilities
- Promote Student Well-Being: Engage with students through meaningful interactions and outreach that increase awareness, participation, and engagement in campus wellness programs. Evaluate program effectiveness and use feedback and data to inform improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Wellness, Health Promotion, or a related field required.
- Experience developing and implementing wellness, health promotion, prevention, or student engagement programs preferred.
- Experience coordinating educational programs, events, workshops, or outreach activities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of wellness and prevention topics, including mental health, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, social connection, and substance use prevention and harm reduction.
- Ability to assess program effectiveness and use data and feedback to improve programming.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital strategies for wellness outreach and engagement preferred.
POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Part-time hourly staff position. Hourly rate of $20-21/hr depending on experience.
