Department Summary: The Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University celebrates over 40 years as Virginia’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Research, Training and Dissemination (www.vcu.edu/partnership).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering warm line voicemails and text messages.
- Calling/texting people back with information and resources to address their concern.
- Completing salesforce data entry that details the caller’s information, their issue, the resources that were provided.
- Sending caller satisfaction surveys.
- The person answering the warm line (2) must be endorsed in infant and early childhood mental health, (3) must be familiar with 0-6 resources (such as early intervention, home visiting, parenting support resources, provider resources) in the Richmond, Virginia area
- Data Entry
- Limited teleworking on occasion, as this is a customer-facing position
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and has working knowledge of Google Apps, Zoom, DocuSign, and comparable software.
- Essential data entry skills, including fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms
- Must be familiar with 0-6 resources (such as early intervention, home visiting, parenting support resources, provider resources) in the Richmond, Virginia area
- Attention to detail is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication are critical for this role.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including professionals, parents, faculty, staff, students, and outside constituents (Communicating respectfully at all times.)
- Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity (when projects or initiatives are being developed)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience with meeting deadlines, organizing workload, and managing changing priorities
- Must be solution-focused with the ability to problem-solve
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU
Preferred Qualifications
- Endorsed in infant and early childhood mental health
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated proficiency in data entry with minimal to no errors
- Experience working across multiple web browsers, software applications, and operating systems

Salary Range: Compensation based on experience not to exceed $31.00 per hour
