Send applicant communications, including information about the
intake process, required documentation, and orientation
materials.
Verify student information, including PNW identification
numbers and university email addresses, within accessible
Information Management (AIM).
Request and process medical documentation and Release of
Information (ROI) forms from students for healthcare providers,
schools, and other agencies as needed.
Assist students with completing and updating accommodation
applications and resolving application issues.
Schedule intake appointments and meetings with Access
Coordinators, students, faculty, and staff.
Follow up with students regarding application status and
accommodation requests.
Provide guidance to students on scheduling exams and
distributing accommodation letters through AIM.
Exam and Accommodation Support
- Schedule accommodated exams and quizzes in accordance with
student accommodation plans.
- Request exams and testing instructions from faculty as
needed.
- Proctor accommodated examinations and ensure compliance with
accommodations and testing procedures.
- Assist students with transferring responses from paper-based
exams into Brightspace when required by approved
accommodations.
- Communicate with faculty regarding student questions or
concerns that arise during examinations.
- Set up and monitor testing equipment, including cameras and
testing stations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure testing
environments.
- Upload completed examinations and related testing documentation
into designated systems.
Administration and Office Operations
- Answer telephone calls, respond to emails, and provide customer
service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain electronic records and upload files to SharePoint and
other departmental systems.
- Print, process, and maintain Testing Information Forms (TIFs)
and related documentation.
- Update departmental databases, spreadsheets, and tracking
systems, including lobby interaction records.
- Support routine office operations and perform general
administrative duties as assigned.

Education for Administrative Assistant
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degrees in Office Administration, Business
Administration, Education, Disability Services, or a related field
preferred.
Experience for Administrative Assistant
- Two (2) years of administrative support, customer service,
higher education, student services, disability services, healthcare
administration, or related experience.
- Experience working with confidential records and sensitive
information.
- Experience using databases, document management systems, and
Microsoft Office applications
