Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Engineering Technology for the academic year [contact details available in the full listing]. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate courses in the mechanical engineering technology program

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in mechanical engineering technology or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

An earned doctoral degree, or its foreign equivalent, in engineering or closely related field.
Certified SolidWorks Professional Certification or better.
Industry experience.
Professional Engineering license.
Significant relevant work experience.
College level teaching and online teaching.
