"Part-Time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation"

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for part-time and limited term faculty positions in the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis.

Job Summary: Positions involve teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Learning Design and Technology and/or Instructional Technology, and effectively designing and/or delivering online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses. Teaching assignments are based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Learning Design and Technology and/or Instructional Technology.
• Effectively designing and/or delivering online, hybrid, or face-to-face courses.

Required Qualifications:

• An Educational Specialist or Terminal/Doctorate degree in Instructional Technology, Learning Technology, Learning Design and Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in effectively teaching Instructional Technology or Learning Design and Technology topics to young adults, aspiring or practicing educators (e.g., university teaching, faculty professional development).
• Experience in instructional technology in PreK-12 contexts, higher education, corporations, government and agencies, or other organizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
• Record of past teaching at the graduate or undergraduate level.
• Demonstrated expertise in current learning technologies.
