Part-Time Assistant Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Coach

The part-time assistant coach for men’s and women's swimming and diving is responsible for assisting the head men’s and women's swimming and diving coach in implementing and directing all phases of a competitive NCAA Division III men’s and women's swimming and diving program at DePauw University. This includes recruiting quality student-athletes, organizing and planning practices and meet strategies, coaching, recruiting, scheduling, budgeting and planning team travel in compliance with University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of collegiate experience as a participant and/or coaching experience at the club, high school, or college level. Competitive experience in collegiate men’s or women's swimming and diving is highly desirable.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Front Rush, Internet, Google Apps, other programs as determined by specific sport responsibilities.
Communication/Language: Basic: Ability to read, listen to and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write and communicate simple correspondence.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Certificates & Licenses: A valid US driver’s license is required. Certification in first aid/CPR/AED is required by the first date of appointment and must be maintained throughout appointment. Lifeguard certification preferred.
