Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The PT Business Analyst I, Power Platform assists in supporting and maintaining the department's elements in the Microsoft Power Platform including data sources, solutions and resources in the Microsoft 365 platform including but not limited to SharePoint data. Under the direction of the director of business operations, the position is responsible for providing technical support to end users of the applications hosted by the department and developing new solutions or upgrades to existing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborates to design, develop, and maintain prototypes, user interfaces, applications, workflows, and reports within Microsoft Power Platform to support departmental needs
- Researches, evaluates, and applies Power Platform features and best practices to department solutions
- With oversight, provides technical support of department elements in the Microsoft Power Platform to end-users
- Assists in creating documentation for new solutions or updates to existing solutions developed within the power platform
- Assists in testing prototypes of new solutions or testing updates to existing solutions
- Assists in designing applications from scratch using the Microsoft Power Platform
- Assists in reviewing user feedback for app improvements
- Implements and deploys upgrades to existing solutions
- Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- General software development knowledge
- General knowledge of high-level programming languages
- Ability to develop solutions in no/low code platforms
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Communication and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of UX Design
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS:
- Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience developing solutions in Microsoft Power Platform
Salary
Hourly Pay Rate is $27.14 - $34.25.

Special Instructions
This position may be filled at the Analyst I, Analyst II, or Analyst III level depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. The corresponding pay rate for each level is listed below:
- Analyst I ($27.14/hr)
- Analyst II ($29.76/hr)
- Analyst III ($34.25/hr)
