Job Summary
Grant Funded Position, ends June 30, 2026 – One part-time Completion/Retention Specialist to improve retention and completion by working directly with students in CTE programs in the Liberal Arts school to develop educational plans and a path to completion, conduct on-going outreach, connection to resources as needed, and student follow-up while enrolled. The Completion/Retention Specialist will monitor student progress, and report outcomes. This position supports meeting the retention and completion goals in Liberal Arts CTE programs.
Qualifications - Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree required.
Qualifications - Experience
Minimum of two years of experience in Higher Education; experience with computers and software applications.
Qualifications - Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook); Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard); Software Systems used in Higher Education Management.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize.
Ability to work independently, show initiative and exercise sound judgment in performance of assigned duties.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work Hours
Flexible – 20-24.5 hours/week.
