The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Georgia State University’s Perimeter College is committed to preparing students for careers in these critically important arenas. Position Description

Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in COMPUTER SCIENCE who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Experience

Required Education

To qualify to teach COMPUTER SCIENCE, applicants MUST have: A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Teaching experience is preferred.

  • Ability to teach COMPUTER SCIENCE courses on the collegiate level
  • Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
  • Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning

Work Hours

Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.

Salary

$2601.00 for each 3 Semester Credit Hour course taught New Rate Effective Fall 2025: $3825.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught
