"Part-Time Environmental Science Instructor"

Position Details

Georgia State University is seeking part-time instructors in Environmental Science to play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Education

To qualify, applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) of science courses applicable to teaching Environmental Science (such as Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, or Biology). Science Education courses are not applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

College teaching experience is highly preferred.

• Ability to teach Environmental Science courses at the collegiate level
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
• Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology

Salary

$3825.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.

Work Hours

Classes at Perimeter College are offered mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
