Part-Time Facilities Support and Courier Assistant

Job Summary

The School of Optometry is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facilities Support and Courier Assistant to support daily operations across its Bloomington campus locations. This is a part-time, hourly position supporting the operational and facilities needs of the School of Optometry.

Department Specific Responsibilities

• Responsible for transporting materials between Optometry buildings and assisting with general facilities-related tasks to ensure organized, efficient, and well-maintained workspaces.
• Provides reliable courier services between Optometry buildings on the IU Bloomington campus.
• Safely transports equipment, materials, documents, and other items as needed.
• Assists with organizing and maintaining storage areas, including inventory movement and general upkeep.
• Supports facilities-related tasks such as light moving, setup, and coordination of materials.
• Helps maintain clean, orderly, and functional operational spaces.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the needs of the School.
