Position Details

Type: Part-time, adjunct (PTI/Adjunct)
Teaching Load: One 6-credit hour architecture design studio
Start Date: Fall 2026 semester
Salary Range: $27,000 – $30,000 per course
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
On-Campus Requirement: Regular in-person presence required

Responsibilities

Develop and update syllabus
Prepare lectures, projects, and student assignments
Maintain office hours and meet all class periods
Grade assignments and submit mid-semester/final grades
Provide instruction aligned with course competencies and performance levels

Qualifications

Required:

Professional degree in Architecture
Advanced degree in Architecture or closely related design field
Professional design experience and record of recognized research (built work, scholarship, publications, or exhibits)

Preferred:

Teaching experience in an accredited professional architecture program
Strong intellectual and artistic direction
