SCC invites qualified candidates to apply for our part-time faculty position to teach College Success Seminar for the upcoming semester.
College Success Seminar is a first-year experience course that introduces students to college process and resources. The course also teaches strategy critical to student success such as: Information Literacy, Time Management, Career Exploration.
Part-time appointments made on a semester-by-semester (as needed) basis. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in serving diverse student populations in a secondary or college-level education setting. Candidates must be available for in-person classroom instruction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional experience in a secondary or college-level education setting
- Experience operating Learning Management Systems (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree
- Experience in classroom instruction
