Pay Range: $2,084.07 - $2,146.59 per credit hour
Pay Determination:
Salary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months salary unless otherwise specified.

Job Description:
Department of Counseling & Human Services is looking for Part time faculty to teach COU 642 Career Counseling (3 credits).
The meaning of work for individuals and within cultural contexts; theories of career development; using computers in career counseling; vocational decision making; and career counseling strategies for working with diverse populations including persons with disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate (or ABD) in counselor education is required.
Job Specific Qualifications:
- Experience and knowledge related to the review of theory, history, and practice of career counseling.
- Emphasis should be placed on the study of techniques and interventions appropriate for use in a variety of career counseling settings such as schools, colleges, and community agencies.
Responsibilities:
- The instructor is required to: meet weekly with students for class (i.e. group supervision), develop and execute lesson plans, provide feedback on students counseling recordings, provide feedback on student process notes, provide formative and summative feedback to students, complete written evaluations, and communicate with site supervisors and program coordinators as necessary.
