Part-time Faculty, Mechanical Engineering Technology
The Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) program at Youngstown State University is accepting applications for part time faculty to teach undergraduate MET courses. The majority of MET courses are application focused providing our students with real life experiences in the classroom and lab. Responsibilities will include teaching one or more courses and/or associated laboratories in machine design, mechanisms, numerical controls, and manufacturing systems. This position is renewable.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments and university officials via university provided tools and resources.

Minimum Qualifications: At least a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or a closely related field or at least an associate degree (or international equivalent) in mechanical engineering technology or a closely related field with journeyman certification. At least three years of professional U.S. industrial experience. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior college teaching, related work experience, and online teaching experience.
Equipment Operated: CNC Machine, Lathes, Drill Press.
