Part-time Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Information Systems [Ref. T/010/26]
Duties
- Teach tutorial and laboratory classes for undergraduate or taught postgraduate course leaders;
- Provide course support for undergraduate or taught postgraduate with a strong emphasis on IT applications in business;
- Conduct independent work in the preparation of teaching materials and new course design;
- Grade student assignments, as well as assist in laboratory tutorials;
- Organise and assist in student activities;
- Handle teaching related administrative duties as assigned by course leaders; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Head, Associate Head and course leaders.
Requirements
- A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Information Technology/Computer Science or related disciplines, preferably with at least 2 years’ working experience;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good leadership and communication skills with ability to work independently; and
- Being passionate in student caring are required.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
