Focus on establishing a well-conceived, achievable, and actionable path to market. After taking this course, students will be able to: Understand your entrepreneurial mission, lean startup methodologies, and your minimum viable product. Conduct research on your relevant industry and identify your customers, their values, and your unique competitive advantage. Conduct research on your relevant market based on your business concept, including the design and testing of your value hypothesis. Develop a viable model for your business, or multiple, compatible viable models. Create testable business hypotheses and experiments to validate problems, markets, product/market fit, and ability/willingness to pay. Analyze the various capital sources available to entrepreneurial start-ups, develop a plan for raising sufficient capital to advance your business, and pitch it. Qualifications: Active engagement in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, with experience in startups or organizational innovation, is required. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in technology, design, management, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Job Specific Qualifications: Responsibilities: Collaborate with professor of record and/or program director, who is responsible for creating the course syllabus and course content, as well as providing an overview of their overall vision for the course. Attend onboarding and training with the iSchool's Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning Maintain office hours and open communication with students. Maintain the course in the Blackboard Learning Management system Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner; provide feedback when appropriate.
