Part - Time Instructor, Jumpstart Advanced Manufacturing - FY 2026

Job Description

Teach MT 102B - Fundamentals of Electricity classes through the CSN Jumpstart Program at your High School.

Lecture and lab instruction
Instruct students in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives
Independently grade and prepare progress reports in accordance with school policy.
Evaluate the performance of students regarding achievements in curriculum and activities and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs.
Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence with safety precautions.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must be pre-approved by the Department of Applied Technology and the Jumpstart Program before submitting an application in Workday.
For MT102B: Satisfaction of one of the following bullet points would meet the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial (with a strong background in electrical/electronic), or Mechanical Engineering (with a strong background in electrical/electronic).
- Engineering Technology program approval of specific individuals.
Additional requirement is to satisfy one of the following:
- 2 years related industry experience and experience teaching CTE courses.
- Engineering Technology program approval of specific individuals.

$1,000.00 per class per semester

Full-Time Equivalent: 48.8%
