Job Description

Teach MT 102B - Fundamentals of Electricity classes through the CSN Jumpstart Program at your High School.

• Lecture and lab instruction
• Instruct students in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives
• Independently grade and prepare progress reports in accordance with school policy.
• Evaluate the performance of students regarding achievements in curriculum and activities and make necessary provisions to meet learning needs.
• Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence with safety precautions.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants must be pre-approved by the Department of Applied Technology and the Jumpstart Program before submitting an application in Workday.
• For MT102B: Satisfaction of one of the following bullet points would meet the minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial (with a strong background in electrical/electronic), or Mechanical Engineering (with a strong background in electrical/electronic).
  • Engineering Technology program approval of specific individuals.
• Additional requirement is to satisfy one of the following:
  • 2 years related industry experience and experience teaching CTE courses.
  • Engineering Technology program approval of specific individuals.

Jumpstart Stipend for High School Instructor

$1,000.00 per class per semester

Exempt: Yes

Full-Time Equivalent: 48.8%
