Part-Time Instructor of Pharmacy Technician - School of Health Professions - Modesto Junior College 2025-2026
Scope of Assignment
The successful candidate will join a Pharmacy Technician department that continues to create curriculum responsive to student needs, increasing student completion through the implementation of strategies geared to increase student equity. Under supervision of the Dean of Health Professions, teach Pharmacy Technician courses in accordance with course descriptions, outlines and class schedules; evaluate progress of students, advise students concerning educational matters, and participate in activities that strengthen student success. The Pharmacy Technician program is an on campus face-to-face in person program. The Pharmacy Technician Program is an advanced-level ASHP accredited program recognized by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board for sterile compounding training.
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current/valid license and or certification (preferably Enhanced Level) that is in good standing with issuing licensing board. At least 5 years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in the discipline; OR Have graduated from an ASHP accredited Program and 3 years of recent and relevant experience in the discipline; OR an Associate’s degree and one year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) recent and relevant experience in the discipline.
