The instructor will teach one or more courses at the second- and/or third-year college level. Chinese II MW 3:00-4:15, F 3:30-4:20 CHNS 4E Intermediate Chinese II TR 12:00PM 01:15PM, F 12:00PM 12:50PM (Contingent on enrollments) CHNS 22E Reading & Conversation II M 9:30AM 10:20AM, TR 10:30AM 11:45AM (Contingent on enrollments) Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate Mandarin Chinese language courses, holding regular office hours, and participating in curriculum development. We seek collaborative educators committed to pedagogical innovation, modern instructional methods, and ongoing professional development. Education: Master?s degree (or higher) in Chinese language, linguistics, language pedagogy (TCFL/TCSOL), second language acquisition, or a closely related field. Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and high proficiency in English. Experience: Demonstrated excellence in teaching college-level Chinese language courses in the U.S.. Pedagogy & Technology: Command of instructional technology applied to language learning, alongside evidence of creative pedagogical practice reflecting knowledge of current methodologies and a commitment to curriculum innovation.
