- Department of Dance: areas of teaching may include studio classes (ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and other dance genres), conditioning classes (yoga, Pilates, cross training etc.), creative practice (choreography, improvisation etc.), dance studies courses (history, theory, dance science, pedagogy). Choreographers interested in setting choreographic work on the students or teaching repertory are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's or master's degree and/or Equivalent Professional Experience.
- University teaching experience or related field experience.
- Demonstrated currency in subject matter.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
- Strong commitment to student learning, quality teaching, and academic excellence.
- Ability to motivate and teach students of diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
- Ability to teach in-person on campus
- A degree from an accredited institution and/or equivalent professional experience in a field listed above.

The College of Performing Arts will draw from the pool as necessary when openings arise. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Applications will remain in the applicant pool until August 15, 2027. Should you remain interested in future openings beyond August 15th, you will need to reapply. The pay range for course and course related work for this position is $48.24 per hour. This position is contingent on final budget approval. Successful completion of a background check is required for all selected candidates.
