Job Details

Develop the course syllabus for each course assigned. Deliver instruction based on the approved curriculum, incorporating international industry standards for Radiologic Technologists. Prepare class presentations and other instructional materials including laboratory and simulation demonstrations. Organize and supervise laboratory and clinical experiences. Evaluate student academic and clinical performance using a variety of assessments and techniques. Incorporate instructional technology with active learning strategies. Integrate current evidence-based imaging practice, radiation protection principles, patient-centered care, culturally competent approaches to teaching and professional practice. Engage in institutional and divisional duties and college service. Maintain current licensure or certification in their area of professional expertise, skills, and evolving technologies.

Candidates for teaching positions in the Nursing & Allied Health Division must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with commitment to obtain a Master’s Degree in a related field. A valid Radiology Certification and minimum of two (2) years experience working as a radio-logic technologist. Radio-logical teaching experience with a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at the college level/university are preferred.
