Part-Time Lecturer – Robotics
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University invites applications for a part-time lecturer to teach a special topics elective on robotics or biomechanics (ME193) during the Fall 2025 semester. Responsibilities include delivering engaging classes, assigning readings and projects, and supporting student learning through office hours and feedback. The preferred class time is once per week on Wednesday evening.

We are looking for experienced engineers with strong teaching and communication skills who can bring the breadth of their experience to seniors and graduate students in mechanical engineering. Graduate degree (M.Sc. at a minimum, Ph.D. preferred) or equivalent industry experience is required. We will give preference to engineers whose experience is directly related to robotics, mechanisms, and/or biomechanics and who have previously demonstrated exceptional teaching skills.
