Scope of Job: We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Social Work as a Part-Time Lecturers beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year. The assignment is on a semester-to-semester basis.

The School of Social Work at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) occasionally has the need to hire non-tenure track, part-time Lecturers to teach in its Bachelor's and Masters of Social Work programs. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program.

Minimum Qualifications: MSW/MSSW from a CSWE-accredited social work program; five years post-master's degree practice experience; social work license or license eligibility.

Salary: Part-time Lecturers are paid per course taught commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. The appointment is contingent upon the enrollment and scheduling needs of the School of Social Work.
