"Part Time or Full Time Training Consultant (at the rank of Research Officer) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention"

Duties and Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Conduct comprehensive training sessions and workshops across various disciplines within the Centre.
• Content Creation: Write engaging content for the Centre, encompassing a wide range of publications and training materials, both print and digital.
• Professional Consulting: Provide expert advice to enhance the Centre's operations and the execution of diverse projects.
• Diverse Role Fulfillment: Take on a variety of ad hoc responsibilities as directed by the Centre's Director or their designate.
• Flexible Schedule: Be prepared to work outside of standard office hours, including weekends, to meet the Centre's objectives.

Requirements

• Possess a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and at least 5 years of clinical, academic or professional experience; preferably have community services experience.
• Strong leadership, self-motivated and responsible.
• An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
• Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work on a tight schedule to meet project deadlines.
• The ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with the local education system with experience working with schools and managing educational research projects as an advantage.

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
