"Part-Time POLITICAL SCIENCE Instructor"

Position Details

Georgia State University is seeking part-time instructors in POLITICAL SCIENCE to play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Required Education

To qualify to teach POLITICAL SCIENCE, applicants must have a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in courses designated as Political Science, and not Public Administration or International Relations.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Teaching experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to teach POLITICAL SCIENCE courses on the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
• Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

Salary

$3075.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.

Work Hours

Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon, and evening including weekends.
