Part-Time PSYCHOLOGY Instructor
Position Details
Georgia State University is seeking part-time instructors in PSYCHOLOGY who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.
Required Experience
Teaching experience required.
Required Education
To qualify to teach PSYCHOLOGY, applicants MUST have: A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
College-Level teaching experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to teach PSYCHOLOGY courses on the collegiate level.
- Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
- Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
Pre-Employment Requirements
A criminal background check is required.
Work Hours
Classes at Perimeter College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
Salary
$3075.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
