Job Summary

The School of Nursing Recruiter will be responsible for outreach, community engagement, and recruitment of undergraduate and graduate nursing students. The position will require the ability to develop, execute, and evaluate a strategic plan for recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, plans and leads local initiatives to reach prospective nursing students.
  • In coordination with Admissions, represents CSU School of Nursing at key community events, job fairs, and other community outreach events to help with enrollment.
  • Develops relationships with community partners and other key stakeholders.
  • In conjunction with Admissions and University Marketing, distributes marketing material to community partners.
  • In coordination with Admissions, schedules information meetings at community partner sites or accessible venues in the community.
  • Reaches out to prospective and newly accepted students to keep them informed and engaged in the process of application and registration.
  • Collaborates with School of Nursing administration, faculty and staff to identify upcoming events that help potential students learn more about CSU and the School of Nursing.
  • Other duties may be assigned by School of Nursing administration.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required and two years of experience in recruitment, marketing, or higher education.

A Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, or related fields preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong cultural competency skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially MS Excel spreadsheets and MSWord.
  • Ability to travel to locations in Georgia and surrounding regions.
