Position Description
Perimeter College is seeking part-time instructors in SPANISH who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.
Required Education
To qualify to teach SPANISH, applicants must have: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Spanish with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant Spanish coursework.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Previous teaching experience, including online instruction, is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to teach SPANISH at the collegiate level
- Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
- Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent organizational and teaching skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology
Work Hours
Position may require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations).
Salary
$3075 for each 3 credit hour course taught
