PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The PT Specialist I, Care Center performs standard support duties assisting the department as they provide wraparound services for students. The PT Specialist I will help the department in a variety of functions such as keeping the food pantry organized and helping those that receive the service sign-in for tracking purposes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Under direct supervision, make sure food pantry is organized for easy access
• Actively assists the dean in all tracking processes
• Provides updates to deans as needed
• Assists within tracking non-academic services as needed
• Collects needed information from participants via designated tracking system
• Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Position may involve some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or canned goods. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK SCHEDULE AND CONDITIONS: Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment. Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position. Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards. Work hours may vary. Morning and afternoon shifts available.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent.

Salary: Hourly Pay Rate is $12.14
