"Part-Time Staff: Testing Specialist"

Job Summary

POOL POSITION

Incumbents facilitates and administers tests and exams for students.

Essential Functions

• Scheduling, preparing and administering exams including placement exam, make-up exams, distance education exams, and accommodation exams
• Assisting students with understanding testing requirements and interpreting test results
• Troubleshooting system or equipment malfunctions
• Documenting and recording tests
• Maintaining student and faculty records
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma OR equivalent G.E.D.
• One (1) year experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional applicant qualifications and experience will be taken into consideration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all constituencies of a diverse community
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements

Positions in this class typically require feeling, grasping, hearing, keyboarding, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, talking, visual acuity, and walking. The work is sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly.
