Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Part-Time Student Success Support Specialist. The Part-Time Student Success Support Specialist provides administrative and programmatic support to enhance student success initiatives within the Mike Cottrell College of Business. This role works closely with the Director of Engagement & Student Professional Development, MCCB Academic Advisors, and college leadership to support student engagement, professional development activities, and student-focused programming. In addition, this role assists with supporting student travel and serving as a key point of contact for students, faculty, and staff. The position plays an important role in ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for students engaging in academic and co-curricular opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support for student success programs, initiatives, and events.
- Support the planning and execution of student engagement and professional development activities.
- Support student travel processing, including documentation, communication, and compliance with institutional requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for student inquiries related to funding, travel, and engagement opportunities.
- Administer and track student funding requests, budgets, and related expenditures.
- Maintain accurate records of student participation, program outcomes, and financial activity.
- Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and student organizations to ensure compliance with university and college policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of administrative support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
