Take a working vacation and experience the excitement of teaching in Vietnam, a dynamic, fast-growing economy known for its vibrant culture, welcoming communities, and stunning landscapes stretching from Hanoi to the Mekong Delta. We are seeking instructors to teach English-language business and technology courses at the doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate levels with our partner institutions, The Banking Academy of Vietnam (BAV), Center of International Education- Da Nang University of Economics (DUE), and The University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City (UEH).

Join a team of fellow professionals who teach in City University of Seattle's partner programs abroad and take your expertise on the road. Share the discipline and skill set you've developed in person with students in the English-language programs at our partner institutions. Successful candidates will bring strong experience and academic credentials to create highly engaging student experiences, delivering their part of an integrated partner program that reflects an international perspective on business and technology.

CityU School of Business and Management is seeking qualified faculty at the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Doctoral levels in the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Marketing
  • Economics
  • Project Management
  • Supply Chain
  • Data Analytics
  • Artificial Intelligence (Business-related)

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.   • A master's degree in a business-related field (doctorate preferred).
  • At least two years of professional experience in one or more relevant business areas.
  • Proven instructional experience in the business field and a commitment to student success.
  • A valid U.S. passport or Green Card with no travel restrictions.
  • The confidence and polish to represent City University of Seattle at the highest level.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and learning management systems to deliver dynamic, high-quality learning.
  • Excellent English writing and speaking abilities, plus the interpersonal skills to connect with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
  • An understanding of the needs, interests, and learning styles of Vietnamese students.
  • Familiarity with Vietnamese culture and a positive, respectful attitude toward the Vietnamese community.
  • A vibrant, professional presence that reflects the university's values and commitment to global education

  • Teaching assignments occur during our standard 10-week academic quarters.

Support and Compensation:

CityU provides the following each time the instructor is invited to teach a course session:

  • Visa sponsorship
  • A $2500-$3,000 fixed fee, with all travel expenses fully covered.
  • Program support for instructional development and teaching administration.
  • Additional information regarding logistics will be provided during interviews and onboarding.
