Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator in the research project “中古漢譯佛典新見複音節合成詞研究”. The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Compiling data;
• Proofreading texts;
• Assisting in corpus construction; and
• Undertaking other research-related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent Diploma, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics;
• Having solid knowledge of Classical Chinese;
• Being proficient in computer document processing; and
• Being skilled in Chinese character input methods. 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
