Essential Duties

Provides direct tutoring services for Upward Bound program students. Provides computer assisted supplemental instruction to students in specified subject area (English, Spanish, or Math). Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Knowledge of Upward Bound purposes and mission. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with director/coordinator, students, parents, and the general public.

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in educational subject area tutoring or related field required.

Teaching license is preferred. Experience working with low income youth preferred.
